This is an exceptional still and dry wine, not to be confused with the Bonarda wine typical of the Oltrepò area and made from Croatina grapes.
Bonarda is an ideal pairing for Fritto Misto alla Piemontese or other fried meat or vegetable dishes; a more unusual, but still traditional pairing is with a slice of Castagnaccio, as people used to do in the inns and cafés of the Alessandria area.
A wine characterised by a deep ruby red colour, with generous fruity aromas and spicy notes. Well-structured and balanced.
